Tesla and SpaceX face scrutiny over technology and earnings
Tesla has unveiled a new generation of its Roadster prototype, featuring SpaceX-inspired technologies. The demonstration included maneuvers such as short jumps and aerial rotations enabled by a specialized vacuum-generating fan system. Three versions were presented: Performance, Thrust, and Rocket. The most extreme Rocket configuration utilizes ten gas nozzles and compressed gas tanks with a capacity of approximately 600 liters. However, concerns remain regarding production timelines, with a start date currently projected for 2028, and a declared range of 480 kilometers that falls short of original promises.
In the financial sector, major technology companies, often referred to as the 'Magnificent 7', are approaching a critical earnings period. Investors are closely watching SpaceX, which expects approximately $12.9 billion in revenue, and Netflix, which is targeting a 12% revenue growth. The upcoming reports from Tesla, Meta, Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, and Nvidia will be pivotal in determining whether the current technological bull market can be sustained or if rising costs associated with artificial intelligence will trigger a market downturn.
