Tesla and SpaceX focus on AI and technological expansion

Tesla reported third-quarter revenues of $28.05 billion, slightly exceeding analyst estimates. While adjusted earnings per share reached $0.48, GAAP net income fell 43% year-over-year to $787 million. The company's automotive division saw a 3% revenue decline, and energy storage revenue dropped by 16%. However, services and other activities grew by 33%. Tesla's profitability is currently impacted by heavy investments in artificial intelligence, robotics, and the Cybercab autonomous vehicle project.

SpaceX continues to expand its technological footprint, particularly through the Starlink satellite network and developments in space data centers. The company is increasingly focusing on artificial intelligence, which is becoming a rapid growth sector for the firm. Additionally, SpaceX is working with Tesla to build an integrated facility for manufacturing computer chips and is exploring advanced projects such as orbital data centers and asteroid mining.
