Tesla begins mass deliveries of electric Semi trucks from Nevada plant

Tesla has commenced deliveries of its electric Semi truck from a dedicated high-volume production facility in Sparks, Nevada. During a recent event, the company showcased vehicles featuring logos from major logistics and food companies, including PepsiCo, DHL, and US Foods.

The Semi is offered in two primary configurations: a long-range version capable of traveling up to 805 km (approximately 500 miles) on a single charge while fully loaded, and a standard version with a range of approximately 523 km. The vehicles utilize high-density lithium batteries and support rapid charging, which can recover 70% of energy in under 30 minutes.

The Nevada plant is designed for a production capacity of 50,000 units annually. While Tesla has not officially disclosed specific pricing or exact annual delivery targets, market estimates for premium versions are around $290,000. Significant orders have been noted from companies such as ZET SCALE and the Swedish firm Einride.
