Tesla crashes into utility pole on Vía Atlixcáyotl

A young driver, approximately 28 years old, crashed a Tesla into a utility pole on the side of Vía Atlixcáyotl near the Pabellón Atlixcáyotl plaza in the early hours of September 25.

According to security personnel, the incident occurred around 3:30 AM. The driver was reportedly traveling at excessive speed and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to strike the pole before ending up in a ditch on the opposite side of the road. Witnesses noted that the driver appeared to be under the influence of drugs or other substances, as they did not seem to be in full possession of their senses upon exiting the vehicle.

The collision caused significant damage to the utility pole, which threatened to collapse and required intervention from authorities to secure the area. Workers from the CFE arrived later to remove the damaged pole and install a replacement. The driver's identity and the extent of any injuries sustained have not yet been confirmed.
