Tesla Cybertruck crashes into utility pole in Llanogrande, Colombia
A Tesla Cybertruck collided with an electrical pole on the Llanogrande–Rionegro road in Antioquia, Colombia, around 7:30 a.m. on October 19. The impact caused the pole to fall onto the vehicle, resulting in what the owner described as a total loss of the truck.
The driver, 27-year-old Anderson José Osuna Castillo, reported that the accident was caused by a ‘microsueño’ (micro-sleep) due to fatigue following a recent trip from Turkey. Authorities confirmed that a sobriety test administered at the scene returned a negative result for alcohol. Osuna, a Venezuelan national, had previously won the vehicle—valued at over 700 million pesos—in a giveaway held by influencer Westcol.
While the driver sustained minor injuries to his upper limbs, the vehicle was immobilized by local transit agents in Rionegro.
