Tesla Cybertruck owners report maintenance issues and depreciation trends

Tesla Cybertruck owners have reported varying experiences regarding vehicle maintenance and value retention. One owner in Oregon reported that after sending a Cyberbeast for repairs involving panel misalignment and a light bar installation, the vehicle returned with its odometer reset from 26,000 miles to zero. The owner also noted additional issues, including asymmetric light bar installation, loose bolts, and connectivity problems.

In a separate report, a Cybertruck owner shared insights on vehicle depreciation after 25,000 miles of use. Despite an initial purchase price of $100,000, the vehicle's estimated value was approximately $73,000. The owner indicated a preference for retaining the vehicle due to the inclusion of Full Self-Driving software, which avoids the monthly subscription fees required for newer models.
