Tesla introduces V2L technology and Model 3 updates in Malaysia
Tesla has announced several updates for its vehicle lineup in Malaysia, including the introduction of Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) Powershare technology across its entire range. This feature, available on the Model 3, Model Y, and Model Y L, allows owners to use the vehicle's battery to power external electrical equipment such as lights and small appliances via a Tesla Outlet Adapter, which converts the charging port into a 230-volt socket.
The updated Model 3 now features a black interior roof finish, a larger 16-inch central touchscreen, and optional Zen Grey interior trim and 19-inch Dark Nova rims. Performance specifications for the Model 3 include a driving range of up to 750 km (WLTP) and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 3.1 seconds, depending on the variant.
Additionally, Tesla has opened orders for the next-generation Roadster in Malaysia. Production for the new Roadster is expected to begin in 2028.
