Tesla involved in separate collisions in Taiwan and Hong Kong

A black Mercedes‑Benz rear‑ended a white Tesla on Taiwan's National Highway No. 3 near Caotun, causing both vehicles to roll and sustain damage, but no one was injured. Police reported the Mercedes driver, a 54‑year‑old man, failed to keep a safe distance; both drivers tested sober and the scene was cleared within an hour.

In Hong Kong's Yuen Long district, a Tesla crashed into the rear of a minibus on Kin Tin Road, severely damaging the car's front end. A 55‑year‑old female passenger was taken to hospital with a head injury, while the minibus driver was unharmed. The Tesla driver fled the scene and is being sought by police.

Both incidents highlight concerns over driver behavior and road safety involving high‑performance electric vehicles.
