Tesla launches Halloween Mode software update for Model Y in India

Tesla India has released a new over-the-air software update for Model Y and Model Y L vehicles, introducing a suite of Halloween-themed features. The update allows owners to access seasonal content remotely without visiting a service center.

Key features of the Halloween Mode include a ghost-themed vehicle avatar, specialized lighting sequences, seasonal vehicle wraps, and themed sound effects, such as an eerie lock sound. The update also introduces a ‘Trick or Treat Mode’ that triggers sound and light effects when visitors approach the car, a photobooth function, and a voice messaging feature that allows users to broadcast messages through the Tesla app using an altered voice.

These seasonal features function alongside existing Tesla utility modes, including Dog Mode for pet climate control, Camp Mode for overnight use, and Sentry Mode for perimeter monitoring.
