Tesla Leads Philippines EV Sales as Avita Tops Russian Market

Tesla announced that in June 2026 it became the Philippines' best‑selling electric‑vehicle brand, moving 984 units – an 18.7 % rise from May and a new monthly record. The brand eclipsed Vietnam’s VinFast, which sold 859 units that month, while VinFast still leads overall 2026 first‑half sales.

In Russia, Chinese EV maker Avita recorded its first weekly triumph for the period 20‑26 July 2026, registering 155 new registrations and setting a brand record. Over the previous four weeks Avita sold 442 cars, up from 418 in the first half of the year, while former leader UMO fell sharply to 42 weekly units.
