Tesla opens 21st supercharging station in Ipoh, Malaysia

Tesla Malaysia has launched its 21st supercharging station at Aeon Mall Kinta City in Ipoh, Perak. This new site features four stalls capable of delivering up to 250 kW and is the first in the country to utilize Starlink for connectivity.

The Ipoh location is considered a critical link in Tesla’s regional network, bridging the gap between the Klang Valley and Penang. This addition enables seamless cross-country travel for drivers moving between Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. To mark the opening, Tesla is offering complimentary supercharging at the Ipoh site from August 21 to August 23.

In addition to the infrastructure expansion, Tesla announced that the Model Y is now included in the Tesla Refer and Earn programme. The company is also offering various incentives for Model 3 and Model Y customers, including trade-in rebates, low-interest programs, and supercharging credits.
