Tesla Q2 Deliveries Jump 25% as Europe Fuels Recovery

Tesla reported global deliveries of more than 480,000 vehicles in the second quarter, a 25% increase from the same period a year earlier. The surge was led by Europe, where sales rose sharply after a slump caused by anti‑Musk sentiment; European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association data show a 77% rise in the first five months of the year.

In the United States, deliveries fell about 12% after the removal of federal EV tax credits, weakening the incentive for buyers. Analysts note that the strong European performance offset the U.S. decline, helping the company exceed analysts’ delivery forecasts.

Tesla also lost its position as the world’s largest EV maker to China’s BYD, which posted rapid growth in Europe. The company continues to push its autonomous‑driving and robotaxi initiatives and plans to develop humanoid robots, though these projects have yet to generate significant revenue.
