Tesla reaches 10 million vehicles produced as French July sales hit record

Tesla announced that its 10 millionth vehicle, a black Model Y, rolled off the production line in late June 2026, bringing total output to 9.86 million by the end of June and adding roughly 140 000 units in the following month.

In France, Tesla sold 2 429 cars in July 2026, its second‑best July on record. The sales gave the company a 1.9 % share of the overall French market and 5.5 % of the battery‑electric segment, which reached a historic 35 % penetration of all new registrations. The Model Y accounted for 99 % of Tesla’s French sales, with the Model 3 contributing only 1 %. The strong performance underscores the impact of the Model Y’s redesign launched earlier in the year.
