Tesla Roadster presentation rescheduled to October 15

The official presentation of the new Tesla Roadster has been rescheduled to October 15 in Texas due to unfavorable weather conditions. The event, originally planned for October 1, is expected to be held outdoors, fueling speculation regarding the vehicle's advanced capabilities.

Technical details and patent filings suggest the Roadster will feature an active aerodynamics system similar to Formula 1's DRS. This deployable rear wing can adjust its angle in less than a quarter of a second and can be controlled manually or automatically via sensors monitoring speed, steering angle, braking, and GPS.

Furthermore, there is significant interest in the potential use of cold gas thrusters, a technology being developed in collaboration with SpaceX. Elon Musk has previously hinted that these systems could allow the vehicle to lift off the ground. Tesla claims the Roadster will boast a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 2.1 seconds, a top speed exceeding 400 km/h, and a range of 1,000 kilometers.
