Tesla Semi to make European debut at IAA Transportation in Hannover

Tesla has confirmed that its electric heavy-duty truck, the Semi, will make its official European debut at the IAA Transportation show in Hannover, Germany, scheduled for September 15–20. The company plans to reveal technical specifications and launch details for the European market, with potential availability estimated for 2026 or 2027.

In the United States, the Semi is already in production at the Gigafactory Nevada, with a target capacity of 50,000 vehicles annually. The truck features a tri-motor powertrain producing approximately 1,088 horsepower and supports ultra-fast charging up to 1.2 MW via Tesla’s Megachargers. Current North American models include a Standard Range version with a 548 kWh battery and a Long Range version with an 822 kWh battery.

Separately, Tesla’s stock has seen recent volatility and growth following regulatory developments in Nevada regarding Cybercab robotaxi approvals and mixed Q2 2026 financial results. While revenue grew, operating margins faced pressure due to price reductions and high investment costs.
