Tesla stock target set at $480 by RBC Capital analyst

RBC Capital analyst Tom Narayan has reiterated a ‘Buy’ rating for Tesla Inc., maintaining a 12-month price target of $480 per share. This projection suggests a potential upside of approximately 30% from recent trading levels, following a period where the stock declined roughly 15.55% in 2026.

Narayan’s bullish outlook is supported by expectations of strong vehicle delivery volumes. He projects that Tesla will deliver 464,000 units in the third quarter, surpassing the market consensus of 454,000 units. Additionally, RBC Capital identified the company’s Robotaxi project as its most significant individual growth opportunity.

While RBC Capital remains optimistic, the broader Wall Street consensus is more conservative. A survey of 25 analysts shows an average ‘Moderate Buy’ rating with a mean price target of $388.85, representing a 5.11% increase. Tesla’s market capitalization has recently decreased to $1.5 trillion following a 16.27% decline in stock value over the past year.
