Tesla updates Model 3 with increased power and new display

Tesla has announced several updates for the Model 3, targeting both the US and Chinese markets. These improvements focus on performance, interior technology, and functional capabilities without introducing a new generation of the vehicle.

In the Performance trim, the dual-motor powertrain has seen an increase in maximum power to 393 kW (535 hp). The Premium AWD version now accelerates to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. The range for the Performance version has been extended to 508 km.

Interior upgrades include a new 16-inch central infotainment display with QHD resolution (2560x1440), replacing the previous 15.4-inch panel. Other cabin changes include a black headliner for the Performance package and new interior trim options.

For the Chinese market, Tesla is introducing Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, which allows the vehicle to power external household appliances up to 2.2 kW via an adapter. Prices in the US remain unchanged, starting at $38,630 for the base model.
