Tessa Blanchard in talks with Major League Wrestling

Major League Wrestling (MLW) founder Court Bauer has confirmed that the promotion is currently in talks with professional wrestler Tessa Blanchard. Following her departure from TNA Wrestling in June 2026, Blanchard has been a free agent.

Bauer addressed the speculation regarding Blanchard during an appearance on the ‘Who’s The Champ?’ podcast, stating, “I can confirm. We are in talks with Tessa. That’s about all I can confirm at this point, but you know, she’s incredibly talented.” While a deal has not been finalized, Bauer noted that Blanchard was originally intended to join the promotion during its 2017 relaunch but was unable to due to scheduling conflicts.

Since leaving TNA, Blanchard has been competing primarily for the Mexican promotion CMLL. She previously addressed her decision to focus on her career in Mexico, stating she felt a need to prioritize her life and goals there after achieving success in the United States.
