Tessa Blanchard's MLW debut appears canceled

Tessa Blanchard’s anticipated debut with Major League Wrestling (MLW) appears to have been canceled. Although Blanchard recently stated on TMZ Sports’ ‘Inside the Ring’ that she had significant plans for the MLW Women’s World Championship, all references to her have been removed from the promotion’s official website.

Blanchard was previously advertised for the Fightland event on September 12 in Charleston, South Carolina, and had been added to the official MLW roster page. Both the announcement of her joining the company and her roster listing have since disappeared. While MLW has not issued an official statement, reports indicate that her appearance at the upcoming event is unlikely to occur.

This development follows conflicting information regarding her commitments. On September 4, CMLL released a statement clarifying that Blanchard had made no additional commitments to MLW beyond the scheduled September 12 appearance. Blanchard most recently competed for CMLL in Mexico City on Saturday.
