Tether invests in AIsa autonomous AI agent payment platform

Tether and HIVEN have participated as strategic investors in a seed extension round for AIsa, a startup developing an autonomous payment infrastructure for AI agents. This latest funding round brings AIsa’s total cumulative funding to over $9 million.

AIsa is building a platform that allows AI agents to independently navigate, access, and pay for external resources such as data, AI models, APIs, and software tools. The platform aims to solve the friction caused by current online services that require human intervention for account creation, subscription management, and manual payments.

To ensure corporate control, AIsa provides tools for businesses to set specific budgets, spending limits, and approval workflows for individual agents. This allows companies to delegate tasks to AI while maintaining oversight of expenditures and transaction records. The platform supports both fiat currency and stablecoins for settlements.

AIsa has already initiated strategic pilot programs in sectors including financial information, market research, supply chain management, and e-commerce. Previous investors in the company include Alibaba, Tribe Capital, Sumitomo Corporation, Draper Associates, and Saison Capital.
