Tether unfreezes $1.45M in USDT within THORChain vaults

Tether has unfrozen $1.45 million in USDT within four THORChain vaults on the TRON blockchain. The freeze, which disrupted trading and liquidity functions for the stablecoin, was reversed approximately three hours after it was implemented.

While the unfreezing has eased immediate liquidity bottlenecks, 19 other blockchain addresses remain frozen. The incident highlights the significant role of the TRON network in USDT transfers, where the supply of USDT has increased by $18.67 billion over the past year to reach $94.25 billion.
