Tetova traffic congestion disrupts public transport

Traffic congestion in Tetova is significantly impacting public transportation, particularly during the period when migrants return to the region. The lack of one-way street implementation and inadequate parking management has caused delays and blockages for bus lines.

Tetova Mayor Bilall Kasami stated that the municipality is currently working on projects for communication signs and one-way street designations. He also noted that preparations are underway to appoint an operator to manage the removal of vehicles that violate traffic rules and to establish zonal parking in suitable areas. A solution involving one-way streets and dedicated lanes for taxis and buses is expected within several months.
