Tettamanti Foundation opens new Research Tower in Monza
A new Research Tower belonging to the Tettamanti Foundation is set to become operational in Monza this October. The 10-story building covers approximately 4,000 square meters and features 10 highly specialized laboratories.
The facility is designed to expand research into leukemia, blood diseases, and rare pediatric metabolic and genetic pathologies. It will serve as a collaborative hub for researchers from the Tettamanti Foundation, the IRCCS San Gerardo dei Tintori Foundation, and the University of Milano-Bicocca. The center aims to attract new talent and encourage professionals returning from abroad.
Strategically located adjacent to the Maria Letizia Verga Center, the tower integrates translational research, genomics, biobanking, and advanced therapies. This proximity is intended to create a direct link between scientific discovery and clinical assistance, focusing on precision medicine and new cell and gene therapies.
