Tetuán hosts exhibition honoring politician Gregorio Ordóñez

The Eduardo Úrculo Cultural Center in Tetuán is hosting an exhibition titled ‘Gregorio Ordóñez. La vida posible’, dedicated to the Basque politician assassinated by ETA three decades ago. The exhibition, organized by the district's municipal board, runs until December 11.

The display features hundreds of personal items belonging to the Donostia-based parliamentarian, including family photographs, personal objects, press clippings, and letters written to his wife. The exhibition is structured into three sections: the attack, the possible city, and the return to origins. It incorporates murals inspired by Basque artists alongside illustrations from artists such as Antonio Mingote and Javier Mariscal.

In addition to physical objects, the exhibition includes projections of three documentaries directed by Iñaki Arteta regarding Ordóñez. The inauguration was attended by Ana Iríbar, president of the Gregorio Ordóñez Foundation and widow of the politician.
