Teufel enters professional audio market with STUDIO 5X studio monitors

Berlin-based manufacturer Teufel has entered the professional audio segment with the launch of its first dedicated studio monitor, the STUDIO 5X. Designed for music producers, DJs, and audio engineers, the active 3-way system utilizes a coaxial design where the midrange and high-frequency drivers are positioned on a single axis to act as a point source. This configuration is intended to improve spatial imaging and instrument localization.

The system features a long-throw 5.25-inch woofer dedicated to low frequencies, which allows the monitor to reach a frequency response of 37 Hz to 24 kHz (at -10 dB). This design aims to minimize intermodulation distortion by separating bass duties from the midrange. The monitors can be operated in either vertical or horizontal orientations without affecting the acoustic axis.

Teufel is offering two versions: a standard wired model and the STUDIO 5X BT, which includes integrated Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD for wireless connectivity from external devices like smartphones and laptops.
