Teufel introduces IKONIO high-power wireless speaker

German audio specialist Teufel has introduced the IKONIO, a high-performance wireless WLAN speaker designed to serve as a flagship for its Home streaming series. The device features a three-way closed system powered by eight independent Class-D amplifiers, delivering 650 W RMS and up to 2,500 W peak power.

The hardware includes three 25 mm textile tweeters, three 90 mm mid-range drivers, and two 200 mm subwoofers with aluminum membranes. These subwoofers are positioned in a ‘Force Balancing’ configuration to cancel out mechanical vibrations. The speaker is capable of reaching a bass frequency of 19 Hz (-6 dB) and a maximum sound pressure level of 118 dB SPL.

Connectivity options include AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, TuneIn, and Bluetooth 5.1, alongside optical digital and RCA inputs. The unit can also be paired with a second IKONIO to create a wireless stereo pair.
