Teufel launches T 10 Mk2 active subwoofer
Teufel has released the T 10 Mk2, an updated active subwoofer designed for films, gaming, and music. The device features a 250 mm woofer powered by a 150-watt Class-D amplifier, reaching a low-frequency limit of 31 Hz at -3 dB.
A key feature of the T 10 Mk2 is its placement flexibility, as it can function in both frontfire and downfire modes. Users can adjust the crossover frequency between 60 and 180 Hz, and fine-tune the volume between -15 and +15 dB. It also includes a phase switch and a low-pass filter.
The subwoofer offers multiple connectivity options. It can connect wirelessly to compatible Teufel systems, such as the CINEBAR models and Ultima 25 AKTIV. For non-Teufel equipment like Denon, Marantz, Yamaha, or Pioneer receivers, a separate wireless transmitter is available. It also supports standard wired connections via cinch. The unit is constructed with FSC-certified wood and is priced at 419.99 euros.
