Teufel launches ULTIMA 25 AKTIV 2 active speaker system

Teufel has introduced the ULTIMA 25 AKTIV 2, the second generation of its active stereo bookshelf speaker system. This all-in-one solution is designed for various uses, including TV sound, music streaming, gaming, and home office setups, eliminating the need for an external amplifier.

The system features an integrated power amplifier providing 2 x 50 Watt RMS. Connectivity options include HDMI ARC/CEC for direct TV connection, an optical digital input, AUX-In, and a built-in USB-C sound card for PC use. It also includes a tuner for DAB+ digital radio and FM, alongside Bluetooth 5.0 support with Qualcomm aptX and AAC.

Acoustically, the speakers utilize a 2-way system consisting of a woven Kevlar midrange driver with a phase plug and a 25-mm tweeter with a waveguide. The design incorporates Dynamore Virtual Center technology to enhance speech intelligibility and can be expanded with a wireless subwoofer or upgraded into a surround sound system.
