Teufel launches ULTIMA 25 AKTIV 2 active stereo speaker system
Teufel has introduced the ULTIMA 25 AKTIV 2, the second generation of its active stereo bookshelf speaker system. Designed as an all-in-one solution, the system functions without an external amplifier, making it suitable for television, music streaming, gaming, and home office use.
The main speaker features an integrated power amplifier providing 2 x 50 Watts RMS. Connectivity options are extensive, including HDMI ARC with CEC for seamless TV integration, an optical digital input, an AUX input, and a built-in USB-C sound card for direct PC connection. Wireless capabilities include Bluetooth 5.0 with support for Qualcomm aptX and AAC, alongside an integrated DAB+ and FM radio tuner.
Technically, the speakers utilize a 2-way design with a woven Kevlar midrange driver and a 25-mm tweeter equipped with a waveguide for precise sound localization. The system also incorporates Dynamore Virtual Center technology to enhance speech clarity and can be expanded with a wireless subwoofer or configured as a surround sound solution.
