Teun Koopmeiners remains unused substitute in Netherlands victory over Serbia

Juventus midfielder Teun Koopmeiners remained an unused substitute for the full 90 minutes during the Netherlands' 2-1 victory over Serbia. This marks the second consecutive international match where the midfielder has not seen playing time, following a similar experience against Germany.

The match was decided by two goals from Mexx Meerdink, who scored in the 30th minute via a penalty and again in the 69th minute. Serbia's lone goal was scored by Luka Jovic early in the second half. Koopmeiners has two remaining international fixtures before returning to Juventus to join training under Luciano Spalletti.
