Tevfik Beyhan arrested for recruiting women via social media live stream
Tevfik Beyhan, a 35-year-old man, has been arrested in Bursa following a social media live stream conducted at a casino in Yalova. Using the pseudonym ‘Reşo’, Beyhan falsely claimed to be the casino manager and used the broadcast to invite young women to work at the establishment.
During the stream, Beyhan promised viewers that the venue would provide food, drink, and accommodation. While he presented himself as an authority figure, security personnel at the casino clarified that he was merely a customer and held no official position at the venue.
Following an investigation ordered by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor, Beyhan was located and detained at his residence in Bursa. He was subsequently arrested on charges of facilitating or mediating prostitution through the distribution of video and written content.
