Texaco expands Brazilian retail presence with new station in São Paulo

Texaco has expanded its return to the Brazilian retail market with the opening of its first service station in the state of São Paulo. Located in Valinhos, within the Campinas metropolitan region, the station is operated by Rede Vem in partnership with Ipiranga.

To celebrate the inauguration, a promotional event was held where drivers wearing official Texaco caps—distributed throughout the city—received free fuel. Car drivers were eligible for 10 liters, while motorcyclists received 5 liters. The station will feature the Techron additive line, which is marketed for engine performance and cleanliness.

The brand's return to Brazil began in 2024 with an initial unit in Palhoça, Santa Catarina. While the Texaco brand belongs to the American oil company Chevron, the fuels are commercialized and managed in Brazil by the distributor Ipiranga through a licensing agreement.
