Texas A&M defeats Arkansas 34-7 to secure 800th program win
Texas A&M secured its 800th program win and its first Southeastern Conference victory of the season with a 34-7 win over Arkansas at Kyle Field. The Aggies snapped a two-game losing streak by dominating the ground game, recording 231 rushing yards on 49 attempts.
Freshman running backs KJ Edwards and Carsyn Baker led the offensive surge, with Edwards scoring two rushing touchdowns and Baker adding one. Quarterback Marcel Reed contributed 170 passing yards and a rushing touchdown, while kicker David Olano provided two long field goals, including a career-long 57-yarder.
Arkansas struggled offensively, managing only 209 total yards. Quarterback KJ Jackson threw for 111 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The Aggie defense held the Razorbacks to just 103 rushing yards and recorded a key interception via safety Dalton Brooks.
