Texas A&M defeats Arizona State in Red, White, and Blue Game
Texas A&M defeated Arizona State 48-20 at Kyle Field during the Red, White, and Blue Game. The matchup served as a commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks and America’s 250th Celebration.
To honor the occasion, the Aggies utilized patriotic field designs and unveiled special American flag-themed helmets and gloves. The event also included charitable efforts, with previous iterations of the game raising significant funds for police benevolence and search and rescue organizations.
On the field, Texas A&M secured the victory by capitalizing on Arizona State mistakes, including a muffed punt and two interceptions returned for touchdowns by Marco Jones and Julio Humphrey. The win marks the second victory of the season for the Aggies.
