Texas A&M fan arrested for assault following Kentucky upset

A 27-year-old Texas A&M fan, Harry Dear, was arrested following a violent altercation at a Northgate bar in College Station. The incident occurred at the Good Bull Icehouse sports bar on Saturday night, shortly after the University of Kentucky Wildcats defeated the Texas A&M Aggies 31-21.

According to police reports, the confrontation began in a restroom when a Kentucky fan reportedly chanted “Let’s go Kentucky” while at a urinal. In response, Dear allegedly urinated on the fan. The situation escalated physically when the victim attempted to walk away; Dear reportedly struck the man in the back of the head and punched him approximately nine times in the face until he fell to the floor. Police noted the victim sustained injuries to his mouth and right eye.
