Texas A&M hosts Arkansas in SEC matchup at College Station

Texas A&M prepares to host the Arkansas Razorbacks in College Station this Saturday night, seeking their first Southeastern Conference win of the season. The Aggies (2-2) are looking to bounce back following consecutive conference losses to Kentucky and LSU, which resulted in their removal from the AP Top 25 poll.

Aggies quarterback Marcel Reed faces scrutiny after a difficult performance against LSU, where he completed 38.5% of his passes. However, head coach Mike Elko has expressed support for Reed, stating that the team's struggles were multifaceted and not limited to a single player.

The matchup marks a return to campus-based play for the rivalry. After a long period of meeting at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the series returns to Kyle Field for the first time since the 2020 season. Historically, Texas A&M has held the advantage, winning 13 of the last 14 meetings against Arkansas.
