Texas A&M lands five-star 2028 quarterback Donald Tabron II

Texas A&M has secured a commitment from Donald Tabron II, a five-star quarterback from the Class of 2028. Tabron, a student at Cass Technical high school in Detroit, is ranked as the No. 3 quarterback and the No. 29 overall prospect in his class by 247Sports.

The Aggies reportedly beat out several elite programs for his commitment, including LSU and Oregon. Tabron cited consistent communication with offensive coordinator Holmon Wiggins and quarterbacks coach Joey Lynch as key factors in his decision.

Tabron is the second commitment for Texas A&M in the 2028 recruiting cycle, following pass rusher Chance Archangel. Last season, Tabron recorded 2,819 passing yards and 35 total touchdowns.
