Texas A&M volleyball sweeps South Carolina to open SEC play
No. 16 Texas A&M volleyball opened its Southeastern Conference (SEC) play with a 3-0 sweep of South Carolina at Reed Arena. The Aggies won the match in straight sets with scores of 25-14, 25-14, and 25-18.
Taryn Morris led the Aggie offense with a career-high 15 kills and zero errors, achieving a .682 hitting percentage. Other notable performances included Megan Fitch and Kyndal Stowers, who recorded 10 and nine kills respectively, while Kirra Musgrove contributed 36 assists.
The victory moves Texas A&M to an 8-5 record and 1-0 in the SEC. South Carolina falls to 7-5 and 0-2 in conference play.
