Texas announces 30th anniversary of White On Blonde

The Scottish band Texas is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their landmark album, White On Blonde, with a special anniversary edition and an extensive arena tour across the UK and Europe scheduled for 2027.

The anniversary edition, set for release on February 5, 2027, will feature a new single titled ‘Another Way To Cry’. The track is inspired by Northern Soul and will be accompanied by a music video filmed in the Scottish Highlands, starring frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri and actor Robert Carlyle.

The 2027 tour includes a major performance at London’s The O2 on October 27 and a stop in Madrid at Palacio Vistalegre on November 11. Originally released in 1997, White On Blonde reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and was certified six-times platinum, distinguishing itself from the Britpop era through its blend of soul, trip-hop, and pop.
