Texas cities face intense heat in Houston, Dallas, and Austin

Major cities in Texas are experiencing high temperatures and heat conditions during mid-August.

In Houston, temperatures for August 15 and 16 are expected to reach highs between 97°F (36°C) and 99°F (37°C). Due to high humidity levels, the heat index or “real temperature” is forecasted to reach approximately 109°F (43°C).

Dallas is facing extreme heat, with temperatures reaching up to 102°F (39°C) on August 15. Forecasts for the following day indicate temperatures between 84°F and 106°F under clear skies.

Austin is also seeing significant heat, with a forecasted maximum of 102°F (39°C) and a minimum of 73°F (23°C) for August 15, accompanied by sparse cloud cover and minimal chance of rain.
