Texas Couple Wins $35 Million Lottery After 30 Years of Weekly Play

A married pair from Mesquite, Texas, became millionaires after their Quick Pick numbers matched the Lotto Texas draw on April 20. The winning ticket, held for 30 years of weekly play at a local 7‑Eleven, featured the numbers 21‑28‑33‑34‑43‑44 and netted the couple a prize of almost 35 million euros (roughly $35 million).

The winners, who asked to remain anonymous, said they had never missed a Texas Lotto draw in three decades. After discovering the win, they spent the night awake contemplating their sudden wealth. They plan to use part of the money to support family members and to take a long‑awaited vacation.
