Texas football coach arrested on felony sexual misconduct charges

Nicholas Alan Codutti, a 43-year-old assistant football coach at Tomball High School, has been arrested following allegations of sexual abuse involving a former student. According to court documents, the accuser, now 24, alleges that the relationship began in 2018 when she was a 16-year-old student and Codutti was her strength and conditioning coach.

The accuser stated that Codutti initially shared nude photographs with her before the relationship progressed to sexual encounters. She alleges that the abuse occurred in various locations, including a coach’s office, a local gym, and at the residence of Codutti and his wife, where the victim worked as a babysitter. In Texas, the age of consent is 17.

Codutti has been charged with felony indecency with a child and sexual performance by a child. He was booked into the Harris County Jail with a bond set at $100,000 and has since posted bond. Representatives for Codutti have denied the allegations.
