Texas high school volleyball teams secure playoff victories

Several Texas high school volleyball teams achieved significant postseason milestones during recent playoff matches.

In the Class 6A Region I bi-district playoffs, the Coppell Cowgirls defeated Hurst L. D. Bell with a 3-0 sweep (25-13, 25-11, 25-13). This victory marks Coppell’s first playoff win since 2018. The team will advance to the area playoffs to face Prosper Walnut Grove.

In Class 2A Division II, the Christoval Lady Cougars secured their program’s first-ever playoff trophy by defeating Roscoe 25-10, 25-11, 25-18. Ranked No. 19 in the state, Christoval moves on to the area round to face the winner of Munday and Archer City.

Additionally, the TLCA Lady Eagles earned their second playoff trophy with a sweep over Bowie (25-20, 25-21, 25-18), marking their first playoff win since 2018. In Class 3A, the No. 6 ranked Wall Lady Hawks defeated Wichita Falls City View 25-13, 25-16, 25-8 to advance to the area round.
