Texas Instruments expands semiconductor design for AI and electric mobility
Texas Instruments (TI) is expanding its role in global technology development, transitioning its Indian operations from an engineering support base to a hub for end-to-end product development. At electronica India 2026, the company showcased technologies designed in India for international markets, focusing on electric mobility, medical electronics, smart energy, and connected appliances.
TI’s demonstrations in Bengaluru included advancements in software-defined vehicles, battery management, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The company is also highlighting its role in powering AI-driven workloads through improved energy infrastructure, such as solid-state transformers and GaN-based power conversion.
In Europe, TI is set to demonstrate new technologies at electronica in Munich, Germany. The exhibit will focus on accelerating embedded development through Agentic AI within its CCStudio ecosystem, transforming industrial automation with real-time MCUs and multimodal sensing, and architecting intelligent vehicle systems using scalable 12V and 48V architectures.
