Texas Lottery app enables mobile ticket scanning

The Texas Lottery offers a mobile application designed to allow users to scan lottery tickets directly using their smartphones. The app serves as an alternative to physical lottery kiosks, which can sometimes face technical difficulties reading identification or tickets.

The application is capable of scanning worn or folded tickets that have been stored in wallets. When a user wins, the app provides visual and auditory feedback, such as digital confetti and celebratory sounds.
