Texas Lottery urges holder of unclaimed $1 Million Powerball ticket to claim before Aug. 1 deadline

The Texas Lottery announced that a Powerball ticket bought at a Circle K in Austin on Feb. 2 matched five of the six numbers (3‑8‑31‑60‑65) but missed the red Powerball (4), creating a $1 million prize that remains unclaimed.

Ticket owners must claim the prize in person at a Texas Lottery claim center by 5 p.m. CT on July 31, or submit the ticket and a claim form by mail before the Aug. 1 expiration date. Extensions may be granted for eligible military personnel. Unclaimed winnings revert to state‑funded programs authorized by the Texas Legislature.
