Texas man arrested for crashing vehicle into closed Kroger

A 60-year-old man was arrested in Rosenberg, Texas, after allegedly driving his vehicle through the entrance of a closed Kroger grocery store. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 27.

According to the Rosenberg Police Department, the man intentionally accelerated into the pharmacy entrance because he was reportedly upset that the store doors were locked and he needed to use the restroom. The collision caused extensive damage to the building, including shattered glass and significant damage to the metal door frames.

The suspect was taken into custody and faces charges of criminal mischief.
