Texas man sentenced to 20–25 years for Cheyenne home invasion

Cash Henderson, a 21-year-old man from Cypress, Texas, has been sentenced to 20 to 25 years in prison following a violent home invasion in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Henderson pleaded guilty to charges including aggravated kidnapping by forcible confinement, aggravated assault and battery, burglary, and solicitation to commit a felony.

According to investigators, the incident occurred on November 1, 2025, when Henderson broke into his former partner's residence wearing a face mask and gloves. During the attack, Henderson held a knife to the victim's abdomen, threatened her life, and physically assaulted her. The victim had previously sought a protection order against him in October 2025.

The situation was interrupted when the victim's sister arrived at the home armed with an electric baton, successfully detaining Henderson until the Cheyenne Police Department arrived. As part of a plea agreement, a charge of first-degree sexual assault was dropped, and Henderson is presumed innocent of that specific charge.
