Texas Rangers activate catcher Danny Jansen from injured list

The Texas Rangers have activated catcher Danny Jansen from the 60-day injured list. Jansen had been sidelined since early June due to a right forearm strain.

To accommodate Jansen on the active roster, the Rangers have designated catcher Austin Wynns for assignment. Additionally, pitcher Marco Gonzales has become a free agent after rejecting an outright assignment following his own designation for assignment.

Jansen, who signed a two-year contract in the offseason, recently completed a rehab assignment with the Triple-A Round Rock Express, where he appeared in five games.
