Texas Rangers prospects perform in Arizona Fall League

Texas Rangers prospects are showing significant progress during the 2026 Arizona Fall League season. Sebastian Walcott, the top prospect in the Rangers system, has been a standout performer for the Surprise Saguaros. In a recent 13-2 victory over the Mesa Solar Sox, Walcott went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs, helping the Saguaros improve to an 11-8 record.

Walcott is using the league to increase his workload following internal brace surgery on his right elbow in February. To maximize his at-bats, the Rangers have utilized him as a designated hitter and have him cross-training in the outfield.

Other notable performances include Paxton Kling, who is batting .326 and is tied for the team lead in stolen bases with nine. Catcher Julian Brock and second baseman Casey Cook have also recorded significant plate appearances, while pitchers Mason McConnaughey and Jacob Johnson continue their development following injury recovery and season transitions.
